Solid 2015 Bull Sale Result

Some 100 people joined us on Saturday for a solid Bull Sale result of 33 sold from 43 head offered for a $4300 average and a top price of $11,000 for the 1002kg Lot 3 Alumy Creek Jolt J88 (NKEJ88). He goes to a new home in Barraba with repeat buyer Muriel Capel who impressed with the quiet temperament of an earlier purchase was looking for another very quiet temperament, easy to work with bull with plenty of weight and volume. 2nd top price went to 2 lots at $9000. Lot 2 Alumy Creek Jovial J40 by Basin Excitement and weighing 1005kg sold to Ian and Sue Cuthbert of Yelarbon Qld, again impressed with the performence and temperament of a previously purchased Alumy Creek sire. Lot 6 Alumy Creek Final Product J30 at 826kg was also purchased for $9000 by local repeat buyer Mark Chorley from Tenterfield. Volume buyer supporters again this year were Matt Tennyson and Greg Wright of Taroom Qld who purchased 10 bulls for a $4000 average after being very happy with bulls purchased last year. A great crowd was present in the comfort of our new sale shed and we thank all the successful new and repeat buyers as well as the losing underbidders for their support again this year.
