August 2011 Ekka Fabulous Female Success
We had another great year showing at the Brisbane Royal National. Our 14 mth TC Aberdeen Heifer Alumy Creek Trilogy F50 won her class and became Junior Champion Female. Our 22 mth Mytty in Focus heifer Alumy Creek Tandia E61 with a young Connealy Thunder calf at foot won her class and went on to be the Senior and Grand Champion Angus female of the show. Both of these heifers are bred from our original Forres Doris B4/ Warragai Doris U31 line that has bred us so many Ekka Champions, although it has been 17years and 19 years since our previous Ekka Grand Champion Tartan ribbons. Hilary, Thomas, Colin and Lisa are shown with the judge and sponsors on the day.
